Weekly Photo Challenge: Tiny

First let me say this is a terrible photo, however it’s one of those one in a million shots in my opinion….

What does a hummingbird do when he has an itch?

He scratches with his TINY foot of course! 🙂

Although I am beginning to wonder if this little fella is double jointed!
I don’t know about you but I have never seen a bird scratch like this before.

1st Ruby Throated Hummingbird Sighting for 2011 in Western NY

Not a picture from this year.

Wow, they’re early this year compared to when I normally see them! Although May is the normal time and that’s right around the corner! I’ve got nectar cooking on the stove as I type this and will give the feeders another cleaning before putting them out when the nectar is cooled! I’m excited! I love the hummingbirds!!!!
